Nike LeBron X Low – Red Plum – Electric Green – Black
The Authority In Sneaker News 19 Jun 2013, 5:30 pm CEST

Is the Nike LeBron X Low also donning that “Mercurial” look? This pair kind of makes it seem so, with the combination of red plum and electric green appearing an awful lot like that recent special release of the Nike Kobe 8. This time around though the Swoosh sports green mostly for its border, the innards being black with a little bit of a speckle on top. Take a look at this possible Nike LeBron X Low “Mercurial” release right after the jump and stay tuned to Sneaker News to find out if they’ll be in stores or not.

Nike Air Pippen – Midnight Navy – Sonic Yellow – Tropical Teal
The Authority In Sneaker News 19 Jun 2013, 5:00 pm CEST

The Nike Air Pippen is one of those out-of-nowhere re-release of 2013, as this 90′s model made some sparks as we saw the “Camo” and “Noble Red” colorways get a nice preview in May. It looks like the Pippen is hitting stores sooner than expected – and in new colorways no less; this Midnight Navy/Sonic Yellow-Tropical Teal colorway grabs that Memphis Grizzlies appeal that Rudy Gay would love (but wait, he’s in Toronto now), but these figure to be a nice Summer sneaker pick-up nonetheless. Check out more photos below and cop now at Nike retailers like Social Status.

Nike Flightposite Exposed
The Authority In Sneaker News 19 Jun 2013, 4:00 pm CEST

Nike Sportswear has blown the roof off Foamposite’s aesthetic potential as in the wake of the glorious ‘Galaxy’, we’ve seen a growing mass of graphic options. Here we see a new twist on that as well as a classic Posite basketballer reimagined as the top shroud comes off the Nike Flightposite Exposed. The Air Flightposite goes no-zip a decade and a half after its debut, this high-contrast zebra edition adding a red/white split along the sides in a style vaguely reminiscent of various Hyperfuses or the recently spotted two-tone KD V sample. Leica D-Lux 6 'EDITION BY G-STAR RAW'
Hypebeast 19 Jun 2013, 1:10 pm CEST

G-STAR RAW's vast array of denim embodies a certain quality, yet simultaneously a ruggedness – a testament to time and endurance. The brand has recently reached out to several industry leaders outside of fashion, creating a loose capsule of goods that reflect the adventurous G-STAR RAW lifestyle. Of course, no journey would be complete without photography, which led G-STAR to tap Leica – the definitive camera brand – to create a special edition D-Lux 6 camera for life's travels. This rendition finds the D-Lux 6 outfitted with a rugged, dotted grip imposed over the body. This outward renovation doesn't compromise quality though, as the D-Lux 6 still retains its fast f/1.4-2.3 Summilux lens and 1.7" CMOS image sensor, not to mention its full-HD video capabilities. This special edition camera also comes equipped with a full-grain premium leather carrying case, as well as a custom strap. Look for the Leica D-Lux 6 'EDITION BY G-STAR RAW' at Leica stores and boutiques worldwide.

Brian Lichtenberg Talks About the HOMIES Collection and His Thoughts On Streetwear
Hypebeast 19 Jun 2013, 11:00 am CEST

Brian Lichtenberg, founder of his namesake label, has carved his own corner in the world of fashion -- a place where pop-driven designs coincide with his tongue-in-cheek approach to high fashion. While the California native has designed bespoke outfits for some of the music industry's most illustrious -- Rihanna, Katy Perry and Beyonce -- it is his runway collection and the contagious BLTEE offerings that's really made Lichtenberg the talk of the moment. With a cheeky disposition towards high fashion, Lichtenberg debuted BLTEE with the BRIANEL No.1 tee in 2006 which led to a slew of crafty iterations of YSL and Maison Martin Margiela. His latest onslaught under the Homiès collection again sees ingenious riffs to ubiquitous fashion logos, with supermodels and budding creatives all embracing the fetching graphics. Here, we got a chance to speak to Lichtenberg about the make-up of his brand, the juxtaposition between high-fashion brands and mockup designs, and forthcoming plans for the BLTEE label.
Reason and concept behind starting the brand, major instance that propelled the brand & how past opportunities and relationships helped the brand...
What was the reason and concept behind starting the brand? I started the brand Brian Lichtenberg in the summer of 2000. I used it as a creative outlet for all my ideas selling locally to Los Angeles boutiques. I literally made everything myself for the first couple of years then branched out into ready to wear and began selling nationwide. BLTEE is another extension of the brand, more street wear inspired for both sexes and has now taken off internationally, hanging in fashion hubs like colette in Paris, Browns in London and online at NET-A-PORTER. It’s an exciting time for the brand. I've worked hard and have dedicated myself to never giving up and it’s paid off.
What was one of the major instances that really propelled your brand? Definitely celebrities. It is become a celebrity driven business and I was fortunate enough in the beginning of my career to design custom outfits for musicians I've always admired like Beyonce, MIA, and Ciara and I have kept those relationships alive. One of the most notable moments I would say was when I designed the Caution Tape costume for Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” video as well as being the first designer to do a collaboration with Forever 21. That type of visibility allowed the brand to reach a much larger demographic.
How has your past styling opportunities and relationships helped you when defining and running the brand? Those relationships helped nurture my contacts with all the pop stars I have worked with over the years making custom pieces for stage appearances.

“One of the most notable moments I would say was when I designed the Caution Tape costume for Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” video as well as being the first designer to do a collaboration with Forever 21.”

Longevity in high fashion, how he defines his style & the current landscape of street wear and where HOMIES sit within it...
Do you see longevity in this flip of high fashion? I think fashion in general as a result of the recession has created this affinity to mix high with low. I love seeing fashion street shots of girls wearing say a Balmain jean with a BLTEE top, a Zara blazer and a Celine bag… It shows diversity, no one wants to be head toe in any one designer anymore. For BLTEE it has become a phenomenon in street wear. Like all trends, they come and go, but the BLTEE brand is constantly evolving and I’m always working on the next big thing - always conceptualizing new ways to expand both Brian Lichtenberg and BLTEE.
From a personal standpoint, how would you define your style and what sort of brands would you call your favorite? I pretty much love and respect all the luxury brands. My uniform is basically a tank, Balmain jeans and Hermes jewelry. What comes organic for me with BLTEE and the brand spoofs is that I actually admire and wear these brands. I’m giving props while throwing a side of tongue and cheek to it.
How would you define the current landscape of street wear? Where does HOMIES sit within there? I definitely see a 90s throwback, but the high fashion trend / meets street pop culture movement in full swing right now is where Homie’s and the entire brand is rooted.

Secret behind designing for both men and women & future plans for the brand...
Is there a secret behind designing something both men and women can get behind? I think it’s keeping it simple and ‘unisexy’, just something more masculine that women can rock as well. It’s always easier for women to wear mens pieces than the other way around.
What are your plans for the brand going forward? I’m really focused on expanding BLTEE and making it a lifestyle brand. Shoes, Technology accessories, Home, cross collaborations, also incorporating luxury fabrics like leather and cashmere. Much more to come!
“I think it’s keeping it simple and ‘unisexy’, just something more masculine that women can rock as well. It’s always easier for women to wear mens pieces than the other way around.”

Presented by Swire Properties and Above Second Gallery, last weekend saw one of Hong Kong's largest street art exhibition with international artists and local talents teaming up to redecorate the walls of a deducted office space in TaiKoo Shing. With the aim to alter the perspectives of artistic credibility in the realm of street art, Australian artists Rone, Meggs and Beastman were joined by Vhils of Portugal, Victor Ash of Denmark, and Cyrcle and Cannonball Press of USA. Employing a variety of artistic techniques and disciplines, the artists took over the mundane space with aplomb dexterity. The short above shows the three Australian artists find time to explore Hong Kong, paint and get festive despite of their tight schedules. We also get a glimpse at the launch party where plenty of drinking, dancing and impromptu bombing added to the exhilarating evening.
Opening Ceremony x adidas Originals 2013 Fall/Winter Footwear Collection
Hypebeast 19 Jun 2013, 8:11 am CEST

For Opening Ceremony's third season of collaborations with adidas Originals, the New York retailer looked to the world of rock climbing for inspiration. Consisting of two models, this season's offerings combine muted, earthy colors with technical-leaning silhouettes. First up is the OC ENFR Rock, a shoe which uses the adidas Originals Enforcer as a base but, thanks to the side cut-outs and removable neoprene sock, has Opening Ceremony written all over it. The second style, dubbed the OC Rock Mocc more readily calls to mind climbing shoes thanks to its low cut, slip-on construction and rope laces anchored to the upper. Both models will be available at Opening Ceremony locations and select stockists starting in July.

This latest off-road runner from Nike doesn’t have All Conditions Gear branding, but it appears physically equipped for just that. The Nike Zoom Terra Kiger takes its name from its cushioning platform, the earthy series responsible for classics like the Humara and Sertig, and a breed of Mustang horse native to Oregon. In this way, we see the Zoom Terra Kiger as a US counterpart to the Wildhorse that may never release here, so check out the rugged Sticky Rubber-soled style after the jump, then grab yours from NikeStore.
