Here’s a look at French label A.P.C. and their latest set of apparel from this year’s “Madras” collection. Retaining a relaxed, clean aesthetic indicative of Western European style, the smart-casual range’s stand out feature is the use of the unique “Madras check” pattern which incorporates asymmetrically placed stripes, which differ in thickness. The Men’s range is expected to expand, being limited currently to only a few pieces, all of which are now available from A.P.C.’s online store.

Bounty Hunter drops a new batch of product from its latest Spring/Summer range. The looks carry on the Japanese label’s usual aesthetic of darker tones paired equally dark graphics. Mixing up looks eerily reflective of Angeleno lifestyle wear, this latest release features button-down shirts, chinos, headwear, accessories, and denim. Commemorating a decade of service to the UK, premium retailer size? continues its tenth anniversary project with a special release from adidas Originals. Having already launched a London pack, the cities series continues with Manchester. The release features much of the same design elements, pairing a classic Originals sneaker and track jacket into a special limited edition release. While the sneakers only see a production of 500 pairs, the jackets will be made in a run of 300, both holding a launch date set for April 17th, 2010.

Rounding out the brand’s March releases, Billionaire Boys Club drops a new collection of apparel for Spring/Summer 2010, this time featuring its Miawaiian Pattern theme. The distinct Hawaiian style print is seen on a wide selection of items, including full-print pants, tees, boxers, and even a tote bag. British photographer Neil Bedford recently compiled a selection of photos entitled “City ‘til I die”. The project was chiefly inspired by the “City Gent” tattoo; a popular tattoo during the 80’s, based on the chairman at the time, Stafford Heginbotham and in the style of England’s “World Cup Willie” who was England’s mascot the year England won the World Cup. As a Bradford F.C. supporter himself, Bedford was easily able to cast subjects for this collection, including his Uncle.

Cellulart is a project produced by honeyee.com for which three selected professional artists/photographers – Shin Suzuki, Shingo Wakagi, and Rei Sato contributed their works created using one of the most commonly owned consumer equipments of modern society – cell phone cameras. As a part of the project, Kaikai Kiki Tokyo Gallery hosted these selected creators and their works in the Cellulart Exhibition which opening on March 19th. Images from the events and works from each artist can be seen below, while the show itself will be running through March 28th, 2010 at the KaiKai Kiki Gallery.

Complementing the forthcoming Puma Dallas launch, UK retailer Hanon are giving away this Rochester Shoe Tree, as well as selling the shoe itself. The Tree features the Dallas logo and has been created using Red Cedar wood sourced from the United States and reportedly gives off an aromatic scent to keep you kicks extra fresh. The Shoe Trees will be given away to those purchasing the sneakers, but as the Trees are very limited, not every pair will be complete with a set. The Puma Dallas is set to launch on March 24 with Trees being given away on a first come first served basis.

No matter how many times Michael Jordan will say no, Spike Lee knows “it’s the shoes”, but this time around, it’s Spike’s shoes we’re asking questions about. Spike was spotted in his usual position at Madison Square Garden when the Knicks took on the Sixers Friday night. The decorated film director was wearing a pair of the Grape Air Jordan Spiz’ike, a colorway that won’t release until April 2010. Among the Garden crowd was former Knick Charlie Ward, actor John Turturro, Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsey Vonn, and some former New York baseball greats, so check out pics of Spike Lee and his Grape Spiz’ikes after the jump.

Especially from readers old enough to remember the originals they’re based on, the first few Nike Air Max A Lot colorways met with mixed reviews.  The newest Pippen-based mashup is probably the nicest one we’ve seen, going the simple white and metallic silver route.  With the two-tone palette, this shoe’s busy sweeping lines are considerably easier on the eyes, and the medial side panels are quite sleek.  Proof positive that a colorway can make or break a sneaker, these should be out soon, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via Taobao

The adidas ZX500 is a classic adidas trainer meant for high mileage on the track. Originally introduced in 1984, the ZX500 was constructed with mesh and suede to minimize weight and maximize breathability, and today the same engineering is in use. The adidas Originals Transform Pack releases we saw on Friday took convertible sneakers to a new level.  Taking the pack itself to another level?  Simple as adding three new pairs of two-kicks-in-one.  The new designs include a black Samba TF, whose Micropacer-like tongue snaps off to reveal lava red laces.  Next up, the Nizza hightop, whose ankle reinforcements have been removed to allow it to fold down and reveal a pale yellow lining.  Last, but certainly not least is a Forum mid whose removable instep strap is extra wide for an almost Air Jordan XX look.  Enjoy more shots of those after the jump, plus the Stan Smith 80s and Superstar IIs that are available at Extra Butter NY.  via FRESHNESS

As springtime rolls around, your wardrobe is going to shift, and you gotta keep your shoe game up to date.  Nike Basketball, Running and Sportswear divisions all have you covered this April with the first set of drops from the Swoosh’s Summer 2010 collection.  For on-court use, there’s a white/silver Hyperdunk Low, a home look for the Zoom Kobe V, and the ‘Rasta’ Air Max Hyperize that’s sure to get some play from Lithuania at the upcoming FIBA World Championships in Turkey.

After the one-game playoff between Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Winthrop, the 2010 NCAA March Madness Tournament officially kicked off on Thursday. As usual, the First Round featured a number of bracket-busting upsets while the #1 seeds dominanted in each respective region. Aside from the gameplay, Sneaker News would like to focus on some of the kicks that were seen in on the college hardwood, and we’re excited that there was no upset at all.

The three colorways of the Patent Grey Leather LeBron VII made their debuts, while an oldie in the Air Zoom Generation made an unexpected appearance. Air Jordan held its own as well, as the Hare Jordan VII, Space Jam XI, a Melo M6 designed by a teen, and some great Team Jordan PEs were in play.
